The fish pitcher is an iconic and whimsical pitcher, first created almost 150 years ago in Staffordshire and still being made there today with the original mold. Often referred to as a "glug jug" or "gluggle jug" these pitchers make a gurgling sound while poured when filled 3/4 of the way with water. These iridescent fish pitchers makes a wonderful gift and can be used both as a pitcher or vase.
